(Mentored Trinity CertPT)

Find out what is and is not required of you to do the Mentored Trinity CertPT course.

The CertPT (YLs & VYLs) course is aimed at in-service language teachers working with very young learners (3-6-year-olds) and/or young learners 7-16-year olds) in mono-lingual contexts in a private or public school context.

As it is an in-service, developmental teaching qualification, it is necessary for prospective course participants to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • An initial teaching qualification + 6 months’ experience

    OR

  • 2 years of previous teaching experience.

  • It is necessary to have a reliable internet connection.

  • It is necessary to have a desktop computer or laptop with a web camera and microphone.

  • It is necessary to have Microsoft Word.

  • It is necessary to have a quiet and comfortable place where you can work without interruptions.
