Why Spainwise?

Whether you are looking for internationally-recognised, Trinity-accredited initial teacher training (Ofqual Level 5) or you want to upskill with our career-boosting specialist courses (Ofqual Level 6), we have a selection of online, blended and face-to-face teacher training options to help you develop the skills you need to teach around the world or online.

Practical, Hands-On Courses

The Spainwise Trinity Cert TESOL and CertPT courses are practical, hands-on training courses. You will develop your teaching skills by doing (teaching!), by observing expert teachers, by sharing experiences and by reflecting on input sessions. The content of the different units is intertwined so that trainees gradually build up an increasingly clearer picture of what is required of a professional language teacher and, therefore, prepare them to fulfil their students’ expectations.

Internationally-Recognised

The best way to have your pick of teaching jobs is to have a reputable, internationally-recognised qualification. For the vast majority of employers worldwide that means either the CELTA or the Trinity Cert TESOL. The Trinity Cert TESOL course offered by Spainwise Teacher Training & Recruitment and accredited by Trinity College London offers you six important advantages over other teacher-training courses.

Specialised Training

The Trinity College London Certificate for Practising Teachers (CertPT) is an innovative Level 6* qualification (Level 6 on Ofqual’s Register of Regulated Qualifications) which supports the professional development of English language teachers. Promoting the development of pedagogical knowledge and skills, the Trinity CertPT enables practising teachers, to access specialist training and certification that can transform their teaching practice.

Our Training Centre

The Spainwise Teacher Training & Recruitment Centre is located in the centre of Cordoba City, in a secluded street just off the main thoroughfare, five minutes’ walk from the train station and bus terminal. Our premises have an open-plan area of approximately 60m2 exclusively for trainees’ use. This space is divided into the Training Room (for input sessions, etc.) and the Common Room (for independent study or breaks and down time). There’s also an office, a library and four classrooms, each of which is equipped with a whiteboard and projector. These classrooms are used for teaching practice, or as quiet spaces for the preparation of teaching materials and other assignments, learner profiling, etc.
